Year 13 students performed their devised pieces to an audience in preparation for their Unit 4 A2 exam. This was for some students one of their last times performing before they leave to move on to university and employment, making the evening very entertaining and poignant.
Spirits were high and all students worked incredibly hard, which led up to the exam which took place on Thursday 2nd May. Well done to all of the Y13 Theatre Studies students!

The tour would not have been possible without the generous support from Carter Steel Ltd near Yarm, Davidson Pharmacy in Billingham and IB Pharm Consultancy in Stockton.
19 pupils from Egglescliffe School sixth form were given the opportunity to take part in this year's Malta rally. The under-17 pupils travelled across to Malta to compete against other English and numerous Maltease teams in both Hockey and Netball.
The mixed hockey and girls netball team played exceptionally well throughout the competition. The hockey team managed to collect the winner's trophy having beaten every opponent they came up against scoring in excess of 40 goals throughout the tour. The netball team, although playing equally as well narrowly missed out on the winners title, beaten in the final by the Maltese U21 National Squad. The girls played exceptionally well against the International squad, a close final, losing 11-14. In total the pupils managed to bring home an amazing four trophies, with S.Tebbs receiving a special award for her positive and encouraging attitude throughout the tournament.
With their kind donations the pupils were able to take part for their schools with pride in brand new hockey (sponsored by Carter Steel), Netball dresses (sponsored by Davidson Pharmacy) and jumpers (sponsored by IB Pharm Consultancy).
