Students at Egglescliffe follow a broad and balanced curriculum.

We deliver a wide range of subjects that allow students to excel in their specialist areas and prepare them for a rapidly changing workplace.

At Key Stage 3 and 4 English, Maths and Science form the core curriculum. During Key Stage 3 students also study History, Geography, Religious Studies, Art, PE, Design Technology, HE, ICT, up to two Modern Foreign Languages, Music, Drama and PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education).

At Key Stage 4, students are given a choice of options from a wide array of subjects. Our option pathways ensure our students study an appropriate curriculum. All pathways prepare students to continue their study post-16, either at Egglescliffe or at alternative institutions.
