Students at Egglescliffe follow a broad and balanced curriculum.

We deliver a wide range of subjects that allow students to excel in their specialist areas and prepare them for a rapidly changing workplace.

At Key Stage 3 and 4 English, Maths and Science form the core curriculum. During Key Stage 3 students also study History, Geography, Religious Studies, Art, PE, Design Technology-Product Design, Textiles and Food, Computing, one Modern Foreign Language, Music, Drama and PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education).

At Key Stage 4, students are given a choice of options from a wide array of subjects. Our option pathways ensure our students study an appropriate curriculum. All pathways prepare students to continue their study post-16, either at Egglescliffe or at alternative institutions.
